St. Ann’s Academy follows the Montgomery County Public Schools System (MCPSS) regarding delayed openings in the morning and cancellations for the day. It does NOT follow the MCPSS regarding early dismissal.
If MCPSS cancels school, St. Ann’s Academy will be closed. If MCPSS has a one-or two-hour delay, St. Ann’s will begin at the reported one-or two-hour opening delay.
If MCPSS announces an early closing, St. Ann’s Academy will not close early. St. Ann’s will close at 3:00 p.m., and there will be no extended care.
If it is necessary to close St. Ann’s Academy earlier than our regular dismissal time, St. Ann’s Academy will make an announcement via radio and television.
If St. Ann’s has a half day scheduled and MCPSS calls for a delayed opening, St. Ann’s will NOT dismiss at noon. School will continue until 3:00 p.m. with No Extended Care. Pre-K students will be dismissed at either 11:30 a.m. or 3:00 p.m.
