St. Ann’s starts Robotics Club
St. Ann’s starts Robotics Club! The first meeting of St. Ann’s Robotics Club kicked off last week with great excitement! The students chose their team name, Robot Masters, and explored the robotics technology. The club will use Lego products, the Lego WeDo for grades 2-5 and Lego NXT for grades 5-8. These robots come equipped with servo-motors and various sensors. The students will learn how to build and program their robots throughout the year. They will research how robots can help solve “real world” problems. The students will present their robots at a school assembly in March.
